Bargain Hunting at the Arts and Crafts Faire

Shoppers Ellen Johnson, Kelsey Untch, and Paige Halvorsen, left to right, hunt for bargains in the Garden Sparrow Design booth during the Summer Arts and Crafts Faire.

The Summer Arts and Crafts Faire returned to Main St. and Depot St. in Antioch on Saturday, June 17.

The two-day event ran through Sunday and was sponsored by the Antioch Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber said the Arts and Crafts events have grown in size to more than 85 booths of hand-crafted goods in both summer and fall.

In the past, crafters from as far as California, Florida, Ohio, and the Carolinas have attended. Each faire draws anywhere from 5,000-12,000 shoppers to the village, according to the Chamber.
