  1. This was the first time I volunteered for an ATC event, and I was amazed! The entire Antioch Senior Center was filled with clothes of varying sizes for men, women, children and infants. When guests arrived, they were given a ticket to collect laundry detergent and toilet paper. ATC also offered other necessities, such as toiletries, diapers, etc. In addition, guests were also able to make an appointment for a FREE haircut! There were four hair stylists who volunteered to cut hair while guests shopped. Oh, did I forget to mention ALL this is FREE to the guests!

I spoke with several guests as I helped them shop for outfits, and each expressed how thankful they were for ATC’s help. Not only was I touched by how this organization has helped others, I felt blessed to be a small part of this event. Apparently other people feel the same because there were a multitude of volunteers helping before, during and after the event.

Lisa Fisher has done an amazing thing here! PLEASE contact her if you have any new or slightly used clothes you would like to donate. ATC also accepts diapers, toiletries, toilet paper, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies and monetary gifts.
