CLC Features Local Artists in Annual Exhibition

Art patrons gather to view, discuss, and enjoy the artworks at the Robert T. Wright Gallery. The 2017 Members Exhibition is open through February 25.

The works of 35 local artists are now on display at the Robert T. Wright Gallery on the campus the College of Lake County (CLC), 19351 W. Washington St., in Grayslake.

The annual Members Exhibition reception which marks the official opening of the event was held on Friday, January 27. Those exhibiting their work must be artist members of the gallery. Membership in the in gallery is open to all.

The creative media on display in the event includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings, pen and ink, photography, and sculpture, just to name a few.

The exhibition runs through Feb 25. Gallery hours are 8:00AM-9:00PM on Monday through Thursday, 8:00AM-4:30PM on Friday, and 9:00AM-3:00PM on Saturday. The gallery is closed on Sundays. Admission is free.
